MY Pickleball Adventures offers premium travel experiences from the United States to Malaysia. We combine sightseeing popular tourist attractions in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Penang, etc.) along with playing pickleball alongside locals on more than 300 indoor and outdoor shaded courts across the country.
The hosts, Jimmy and Gynn, originally from Malaysia, reside out of Northern California and want to showcase the true Malaysian hospitality, culture, food scene and the explosive growth of pickleball in Malaysia.
The price of the tour doesn't include international flights to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. However, we can assist in travel planning and suggestions for which flights to book so you can arrive on time!
The 10 Day-9 Night tour includes
• 3 Nights at a 5-Star Hotel in Kuala Lumpur
• 1 Night at a 4-Star Hotel in Cameron Highlands
• 3 Nights at a 5-Star Hotel in Penang
• 3 Nights at a 5-Star Hotel in Kuala Lumpur
• Licensed English speaking tour guide
• 8-10 hours of pickleball lessons from a local pickleball academy
• 16 hours of total pickleball court time
• 30 hours of sightseeing between Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands and Penang
• Airport Transfers
• All meals included (when with the tour group; 3 meals not included during free time)
• All transportation between Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands and Penang
Pickleball Group Tour (10 Day / 9 Night trip):
Typically, there are 5 days of pickleball. Each session lasts 3–4 hours and is divided between lessons and round-robin social play with locals. Please check the itinerary for more details.
Pickleball Retreat (9 Day / 8 Night trip):
Typically, there are 7 days of pickleball. Each session lasts 3–4 hours and is divided between lessons and round-robin social play with locals. Please check the itinerary for more details.
There is no level range, however, based on experience we recommend 2.5-4.0 players (self rated or DUPR) will be most comfortable. If you are 2.5 or just starting pickleball, we will happily welcome you as well. This trip will help you level up your game. If you are above 4.0, this trip may not be as challenging but we will try our best to accommodate and find equal level local players for you to play with.
Yes, we strongly advise having travel insurance for your trip. It helps protect you incase of unexpected events, cancellations or medical needs. Travel insurance provides peace of mind especially when traveling internationally.
We recommend bringing your pickleball paddle, court shoes (non-marking) and athletic clothing. Malaysia is hot and humid. 85-95 degrees Farenheit all year round with high humidity (think New York in the summer or Florida).

The trip is fully structured and we have every day covered from breakfast to dinner. There will be free time during the last 2 days (after a morning pickleball session) of the trip prior to departure with optional pickleball open play in the evenings.
There will laundry services offered at the hotels, this will be charged under your own expense.
Yes, we will stay in a serviced apartment which provides an in-room laundry machine.
For U.S. Citizens, no visa is required. 3 days before your flight, fill out the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online. You do not need a printed confirmation but you should keep the email confirmation available incase they ask. This will be required in order to obtain your entry and passport stamp when you arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport immigration counter.
